We are all Missionaries!

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all I have commanded." ~ Jesus (Matt. 28:19-20) Jesus called us all to be missionaries, sent ones, out making disciples of those around us.  God has already called and commissioned all of us, in the Great Commission.  Waiting to be called?  He already has called us!!!

"And you will be witness for Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the world." ~ Jesus (Acts 1:8) We are sent, first to our "Jerusalems" our home cities, then to our "Judeas" home regions/cultures, our "Samarias" our neighboring regions/cross-culturally, and "to the ends of the world"  our "overseas" missions!  Even if one never makes it overseas, we can still be sent ones right where we are.

Think about it, the farthest I have ever been on short term missions is Chihuahua, Mexico; Rob has only served cross-culturally in the USA. Yet we have been full-time missionaries for the past 10 years, serving in Native missions work - the nearly forgotten missions with the Nation.   So as you think about how God would have you serve, remember, it could be to anyone and everyone you meet!

"Lord Jesus, help us to awaken to the calling you have given each of us as believers to "Go!"  Help us to learn where you would send each of us.  May each of us be true disciples and obey your last command and commission to us, to "Go, make more disciples!".  Lastly, help Rob and me, as we continue to serve with Native American. In Jesus name, Amen."
